Autonautic compasses are made in Barcelona, Spain and weighted for the southern hemisphere unless marked otherwise.  We have been to Spain and walked through the factory where the compasses are made.  Autonautic is run by a father and son team.  

Autonautic compasses are 100% repairable, unlike many compasses you buy these days.
